Data Policy
This policy describes the information we process to support Lyve Chat, Lyve Chat, Messenger, and other products and features offered by Lyve Chat Platforms, Inc. (Lyve Chat Products or Products). You can find additional tools and information in the Lyve Chat Settings and Lyve Chat Settings.
I. What kinds of information do we collect?
To provide the Lyve Chat Products, we must process information about you. The types of information we collect depend on how you use our Products. You can learn how to access and delete information we collect by visiting the Lyve Chat Settings and Lyve Chat Settings.
Things you and others do and provide.
Information and content you provide. We collect the content, communications, and other information you provide when you use our Products, including when you sign up for an account, create or share content, and message or communicate with others. This can include information in or about the content you provide (like metadata), such as the location of a photo or the date a file was created. It can also include what you see through features we provide, such as our camera, so we can do things like suggest masks and filters that you might like, or give you tips on using camera formats. Our systems automatically process content and communications you and others provide to analyze context and what's in them for the purposes described below. Data with special protections: You can choose to provide information in your Lyve Chat profile fields or Life Events about your religious views, political views, who you are "interested in," or your health. This and other information (such as racial or ethnic origin, philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership) could be subject to special protections under the laws of your country.
Networks and connections. We collect information about the people, accounts, hashtags, and Lyve Chat groups and Pages you are connected to and how you interact with them across our Products, such as people you communicate with the most or groups you are part of. We also collect contact information if you choose to upload, sync, or import it from a device (such as an address book or call log or SMS log history), which we use for things like helping you and others find people you may know and for the other purposes listed below.
Your usage. We collect information about how you use our Products, such as the types of content you view or engage with; the features you use; the actions you take; the people or accounts you interact with; and the time, frequency, and duration of your activities. For example, we log when you're using and have last used our Products, and what posts, videos, and other content you view on our Products. We also collect information about how you use features like our camera.
Information about transactions made on our Products. If you use our Products for purchases or other financial transactions (such as when you make a purchase in a game or make a donation), we collect information about the purchase or transaction. This includes payment information, such as your credit or debit card number and other card information; other account and authentication information; and billing, shipping, and contact details.
Things others do and information they provide about you. We also receive and analyze content, communications, and information that other people provide when they use our Products. This can include information about you, such as when others share or comment on a photo of you, send a message to you, or upload, sync, or import your contact information.
Device Information
As described below, we collect information from and about the computers, phones, connected TVs, and other web-connected devices you use that integrate with our Products, and we combine this information across different devices you use. For example, we use information collected about your use of our Products on your phone to better personalize the content (including ads) or features you see when you use our Products on another device, such as your laptop or tablet, or to measure whether you took an action in response to an ad we showed you on your phone on a different device.

Information from Partners:
Advertisers, app developers, and publishers can send us information through Lyve Chat Business Tools they use, including our social plug-ins, APIs, SDKs, or tracking pixels. These partners provide information about your activities off of our platform—including information about your device, websites you visit, purchases you make, the ads you see, and how you use their services—whether or not you have an account or are logged into our Products. For example, a game developer could use our API to share which games you play, or a business could tell us about a purchase you made in its store. We also receive information about your online and offline actions and purchases from third-party data providers who have the rights to provide us with your information.
Partners receive your data when you visit or use their services or through third parties they work with. We require each of these partners to have lawful rights to collect, use, and share your data before providing it to us. II. How do we use this information?
We use the information we have (subject to choices you make) as described below to provide and support the Lyve Chat Products and related services. Here's how:

We use the information we collect to deliver our Products, including personalizing features and content and making recommendations for you, such as groups or events you may be interested in. To create personalized experiences, we use your connections, preferences, and activities based on the data we collect and learn from you and others. This includes any data with special protections you choose to provide and how you interact with our Products. Information Across Lyve Chat Products and Devices:
We connect information about your activities on different Lyve Chat Products and devices to offer a seamless, consistent experience. For example, we may suggest that you join a group on Lyve Chat based on people you follow or interact with on other platforms integrated with Lyve Chat. We can also automatically fill in your registration details (such as your phone number) from one Lyve Chat Product when signing up for another.
Location-Related Information:
We use location-related data—such as your current location, where you live, and businesses or people you're near—to provide personalized experiences. This information may be based on precise device location (if you've allowed access), IP addresses, and other sources.
Product Research and Development:
We use the information we collect to develop, test, and improve our Products, including through surveys, research, and troubleshooting new features.
Ads and Sponsored Content:

2. Provide Measurement, Analytics, and Other Business Services
We use the information we collect (including activity off our Products) to help advertisers and partners measure the effectiveness of their ads and services, and to understand user behavior on their websites and apps.
3. Promote Safety, Integrity, and Security
We use the information we have to verify accounts, combat harmful conduct, and detect and prevent spam or other bad experiences. This helps us maintain the integrity of Lyve Chat Products and promote safety across our platform. For example, we investigate suspicious activity or policy violations. 4. Communicate with You
We use your information to send marketing communications, inform you about updates to our Products, and respond to your inquiries.
5. Research and Innovate for Social Good
We use information (including from research partners) to conduct and support research on social welfare, public interest, and technological advancement. Your information is shared with others in the following ways:
1. Sharing on Lyve Chat Products
People and Accounts You Share and Communicate With:
When you share content using Lyve Chat Products, you choose the audience for your posts and messages. For example, when you share a presentation or a comment, you can select the audience—such as a specific group, your friends, or the public. Others in your network may see your interactions with our Products, including engagement with content.
Public Information:
Public information can be seen by anyone, on or off our Products, including those without an account. This includes your username, any information shared with a public audience, and content shared on public forums. Public information may also be accessed through third-party services such as search engines or apps integrated with Lyve Chat.
Content Others Share or Reshare About You:
Consider who you share with, as those who can see your activity may choose to share it with others. For example, if someone shares a post or mentions you, that content may be visible to their audience. If you're uncomfortable with what others have shared about you, you can learn how to report that content.
Active Status and Presence Information:
People in your networks may see when you are active on Lyve Chat or when you last used our Products.
2. Apps, Websites, and Third-Party Integrations
When you choose to use third-party apps or websites that are integrated with Lyve Chat, they may receive information about your activities. For instance, when you use a third-party service linked to Lyve Chat, it can access your public profile and any information you choose to share with them. Information collected by these services is subject to their own terms and policies.
Note: We are in the process of restricting developers' access to further protect user data. Access will be limited for apps not used within a specified timeframe.
3. New Ownership
If ownership of all or part of Lyve Chat changes, your information may be transferred to the new owner.
Sharing with Third-Party Partners
We work with third-party partners who help us provide and improve our Products. We do not sell your information and impose strict restrictions on how our partners can use the data we provide. Here are the types of third parties we share information with:
Analytics Partners:
We provide aggregated statistics that help businesses understand how users engage with their content on Lyve Chat.
Advertisers:
We offer advertisers reports about audience engagement without sharing personally identifiable information unless you grant us permission.

IV. How do Lyve Chat Companies Work Together?
Lyve Chat shares infrastructure and technology with other related companies to provide a consistent and safe experience. We process information about you across these platforms to improve services, prevent spam, and understand user interactions. This integration helps us enhance the overall user experience and respond effectively to any issues that arise.
V. How can I manage or delete information about me?
You have the ability to access, correct, export, and delete your data within Lyve Chat. We store your data only as long as necessary to provide our services or until you delete your account—whichever comes first. This determination is based on factors such as the nature of the data and relevant legal or operational needs. For example, if you search for something on Lyve Chat, you can access and delete that search from your history at any time, but logs may be retained for a limited period.
When you delete your account, all your shared content, like presentations and comments, will be permanently removed, and you will not be able to recover that information. However, content shared by others about you will not be deleted. If you prefer not to delete your account but want to temporarily stop using Lyve Chat, you can deactivate your account. VI. How do we respond to legal requests or prevent harm?
We may access, preserve, and share your information with regulators, law enforcement, or other entities in the following situations:
